Ali KOPUZ - Vice President

Born in 1961 in Veliköy, Rize's district of Gündoğdu, Ali KOPUZ completed his primary education in Tarhan College in Istanbul and his secondary education at Fatih College. He continued his high school education at Fatih Imam Hatip High School in Istanbul.

 

Having started his business life at Elif Meat Products Industry & Trade Co. Inc., the family business, Kopuz is still company board chairman. Additionally, he is also chairman of Al-Et Foods and KopuzoÄŸlu Construction Companies active in the food and construction sectors.

 

Kopuz is also chairman of the board of Mega Center Building Cooperative, Turkey's largest and Europe's second largest food center.

 

Ali Kopuz was elected as a member of the assembly in the Istanbul Commodity Exchange elections held in May 2013, and then elected as the president of the board of directors.

 

Kopuz was elected deputy president of TOBB at the August 2013 Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey’s 69th General Assembly.

 

Ali Kopuz is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
