Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Kyrgyz Republic Investment Promotion and Protection Agency Director Adilbek Ş. Uulu and the delegation accompanying him visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) visited. TOBB Board Treasurer Member Faik Yavuz hosted the guests during the visit.​

Food Retailing Consultation Meeting was hosted by TOBB and held with the participations of Deputy Trade Minister Sezai Uçarmak, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Selçuk Öztürk, Trade Ministry Domestic Trade Director General Adnan Yankın, Trade Ministry Domestic Trade Deputy Director General Adem Başar, TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz, TOBB Deputy Secretaries General Cengiz Delibaş and Sarp Kalkan as well as the representatives of Food Retailers. ​

Wholesale Vegetable and Fruit Market Halls Consultation Meeting was hosted by TOBB and held with the participations of Deputy Trade Minister Sezai Uçarmak, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz, Wholesale Marketers Federation President Yüksel Tavşan, Trade Ministry Domestic Trade Director General Adnan Yankın, Trade Ministry Domestic Trade Deputy Director General Hakan Çalış, TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz, TOBB Deputy Secretaries General Cengiz Delibaş and Sarp Kalkan as well as Vegetable and Fruit Brokers Associations Presidents and their representatives. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Hakan Ülken, alongside Vice President Fuat Oktay, attended the 6th General Assembly of the Educators Association Syndicate (Eğitim-Bir-Sen) which is a part of MEMUR-SEN. ​

Combined Freight Transportation Regulation Workshop was hosted by the Union Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), under the auspices of the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and the Combined Transport of Freight and Dangerous Goods Regulatory General Directorate. ​

As a part of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Accreditation Trainings continue on February 13-14 with “ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Training.” The training aimed at Accredited Chamber / Exchange Secretaries General and Accreditation Officers, the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System was explained with sample applications in line with Accreditation Standard expectations. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Garment and Ready-made Clothing Council meeting convened under TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and Council President Şeref Fayat with the attendances of civil society organization and high level sector representatives to assess the latest developments the sector at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Software Council convened under TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci and Council President Melek Bar Elmas at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz hosted a business dinner at TOBB for Vice President of Marrakech, Morocco, Safi Region Samir Goudar and his delegation.​

As a part of the ongoing Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) hosted the “Strategic Planning Training” on February 12th. The training organized for the Secretaries General and Accreditation Officers of Accredited Chambers, the strategic management process was explained with examples with regards to the expectations of the Accreditation Standard. ​
