The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, with National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar, visited Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Chairman of the Parliamentary Plan and Budget Commission Lütfi Elvan and Ak Party Vice President for Foreign Relations Cevdet Yılmaz at the TOBB Twin Towers. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Republic of Singapore’s Ambassador to Ankara, Jonathan Tow. During the meeting held at the TOBB Twin Towers, Ambassador Tow was given detailed information about TOBB's activities and discussed how to take the economic relations between the two countries to a higher level. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Mongolian Ambassador to Ankara Bold Ravdan at his office. During the meeting which took place closed to the press saw an exchange of views on trade and economic relations between Turkey and Mongolia.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Former Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs and Afyonkarahisar Parliamentary Representative Veysel Eroğlu, Afyonkarahisar Parliamentary Representative Ali Özkaya, Afyonkarahisar Parliamentary Representative Ibrahim Yurdunuseven, Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Hüsnü Serteser and Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University Rector Prof. Dr. Nurullah Okumuş. The meeting focused on issues related to Afyonkarahisar's potential for health tourism. ​

Düzce Mayor Dr. Faruk Özlü visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. ​

Speaking at the meeting of the Turkish Higher Education Council, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stated that the relationship between the goals of the private sector and education planning should be strengthened, adding, “I believe that there will be a significant increase in productivity in higher education if the quotas are planned according to the needs of the private sector. We need to update departments and programs in universities with the needs of the future.”​
