Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

New Accreditation Standard Training was held for the 3rd-8th-11th-14th Term Accredited Chambers / Exchanges whose development visits were completed and the 15th-16th Term Chambers / Exchanges in the Process.​

The number of newly established companies, the number of cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 13,7% 9,9% and 24,6% respectively according to the previous month.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) hosted representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, presentations were made and information was shared about the activities carried out by the said Ministry and our Union regarding national and international transportation activities.​

Smart SME Gaziantep Digital Transformation Conference was held in Gaziantep under the auspices of TOBB and hosted by Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce, Gaziantep Commodity Exchange, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, Nizip Chamber of Commerce, Nizip Commodity Exchange and Islahiye Chamber of Commerce.​

Within the scope of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, 1st – 2nd – 5th – 7th New Accreditation Standard Training was organized at TOBB on February 19-20, 2024 for Accredited Chambers / Exchanges. In the training, article expectations were explained within the scope of the new accreditation standard Basic Competencies - Basic Services - New Generation Services - Exchange Activities. ​

Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors of TOBB, met with Qurat ul Ain, Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry. During the meeting, mutual cooperation opportunities between the two sides were discussed. ​

Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Türkiye-US GreenTech Business Forum.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Council Members Information Seminar, which covers February 17-18, 2024, started at TOBB Twin Towers. TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz, in his speech at the opening of the seminar, wished the participants success and stated that information about the institutional structure and affiliates of TOBB will be given in the seminar. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Patent and Trademark Attorneys Council visited Ferhat Topkaya, Vice President of the Competition Authority, in his office to discuss sectoral issues. ​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Marmara Regional Meeting was hosted by Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and chaired by Nurcan Babalık, Regional Representative and TOBB Kocaeli Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK) President.​
