Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Temir Sariev, President of Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the meeting, trade relations between the two countries and potential cooperation opportunities were discussed. ​

Türkiye-Kyrgyzstan Business Forum was held in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Kyrgyzstan CCI President Temir Sariev and DEİK President Nail Olpak.​

Türkiye-Kyrgyzstan Round Table meeting was held at TOBB with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, Minister of Economy and Trade of Kyrgyzstan Daniiar Amangeldiev, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of DEIK Nail Olpak, President of the Kyrgyz CCI Temir Sariev, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Ankara Ruslan Kazakbayev and business people. At the meeting, the opinions and suggestions of the business world were listened to. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat attended the Türkiye - Qatar Joint Economic and Trade Commission meeting chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Abdullah Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry of Qatar.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the President of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani before the Türkiye-Qatar Joint Commission on Economy and Trade meeting. ​

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu paid a congratulatory visit to Abdurrahman Aslantaş, President of Gebze Chamber of Commerce.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Dr. Martin Wansleben, CEO of the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry. During the meeting, Türkiye-Germany economic and trade relations, the current state of Türkiye-EU relations, visa liberalization and the processes of updating the customs union were discussed. ​

The body of Hüsnü Ünal, former President of Çankırı Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Commodity Exchange and UMAT Türk AŞ, who passed away today, was buried in Karşıyaka Cemetery after the funeral prayer following the afternoon prayer.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) is celebrating its 72nd anniversary. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We remember our founders and those who contributed with respect and gratitude. May Allah be pleased with everyone who has contributed from yesterday to today. 72 years later, with the same spirit and excitement, we continue to work for Strong Türkiye and Strong Economy.”​

Under the leadership of TOBB and in cooperation with TEPAV and TOBB ETU, Türkiye's 100 fastest growing companies were determined. Adana-based AFM Food and Chemicals LLC, which increased its turnover by 6628% in 2 years, ranked first. The companies in the top 100 grew 8 times faster than Türkiye. The average age of these companies is 13.2 years and 71 of them are exporting.​
