The statement reads:

“In recent days, it has been often noted that some COVID-19 vaccines that have reached the stage of use need to be transported at a temperature of -75 C and maintained at the same temperature. There has been a measure of erroneous information put forth about the lack of sufficient information and resources in our country in order to meet these conditions. In order to prevent this information pollution and to present accurate information, we think it is useful to make a statement as non-governmental organizations representing the “Cold Chain” area of the TOBB Turkey Climate Control Council.

Our country's climate control sector has the knowledge and production ability to meet the demands from both Turkey and the whole world and expects tasking from the TR Ministry of Health in this direction.

In this context;

•The knowledge and experience of our domestic industry in cold chain is highly developed.

•We have many manufacturers with infrastructure that can produce cold storage warehouses at -75 degrees in our country and abroad.

•During the external and internal logistics of vaccines, the necessary equipment demand can also be met by our domestic industry.

•Our companies operating in the sector completed the production and mechanical installations of hygienic air conditioning systems of Pandemic Hospitals in Istanbul in as short as 2 months. This is an important reference for our industry.

If the TR Ministry of Health determines the need, we declare here that our companies operating in the cold chain in the Climate Control Sector can meet the need in a short time, as TOBB Turkey Climate Control Member Associations ISKID, SOSİAD and ESSİAD.
