The total number of employees according to Active Capacity Reports decreased by 7% (281,815 units) from 3,989,687 in January 2024 to 3,707,872 in January 2025.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
