Türkiye Chemical Industry Council’s Election Meeting held in İstanbul

The Türkiye Chemical Industry Council’s Election Meeting was held in İstanbul with the participation of İbrahim Burkay, a member of the TOBB Board of Directors.​
The meeting began with the election of the Executive Board for the new term. As a result of the election, Timur Erk, Honorary President of the Turkish Chemical Industries Association (TKSD), was re-elected as President of the TOBB Türkiye Chemical Industry Council, while Haluk Erceber, Plant and External Relations Manager at Organic Chemical Industry and Trade Inc. and also President of TKSD, was elected as Vice President of the Council.
Following the election, Council members reviewed recent developments in the sector. Addressing current issues such as rising raw material prices and the U.S.-Israel/Iran conflict, the Council members reached a consensus on the need to develop sectoral strategies.
