Training on “Empowering Communities Through Microfinance” held at TOBB

The training program titled “Empowering Communities Through Microfinance,” organized by the Islamic Chamber Training Academy (ICTA), was held on June 29–30, 2026, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).
As part of the training program, the fundamental principles of microfinance, its role in community empowerment, its relationship with Islamic finance instruments, and its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals were discussed in various sessions.
The opening remarks were delivered by Yousef Khalawi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, and Mustafa Bayburtlu, Deputy Secretary-General of TOBB.
