Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Prior to the meeting, a delegation from the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council visited Mustafa Gökhan Alkan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Karaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at his office. During the meeting, they exchanged views on Karaman’s investment and entrepreneurship potential, support for women entrepreneurs, and potential joint projects in this field.

The regional meeting, which began with an opening speech by Nurten Öztürk, Chair of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, was attended by Gülper Gündüz Yassı, Chair of the TOBB Nevşehir Women Entrepreneurs Council and TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Representative for the Central Anatolia Region; Nagihan Özer Sarıbal, Chair of the TOBB Çankırı Women Entrepreneurs Council; Tuğbahan İlgü, Chair of the TOBB Kayseri Women Entrepreneurs Council; Melek Sultan Tufan, Chair of the TOBB Kırıkkale Women Entrepreneurs Council; Özge Şenlik, Chair of the TOBB Kırşehir Women Entrepreneurs Council; Meryem Betül Özkardeş, Chair of the TOBB Konya Women Entrepreneurs Council; Elif Gürkaynak, Chair of the TOBB Eskişehir Women Entrepreneurs Council; TOBB KGK Executive Board Member Mülkiye Alagöz, and TOBB KGK Executive Board Member Elif Ülger Yalçın attended the event.

The Women’s Panel at the Summit, moderated by Serap Kocaoğlu, Vice Chair of the TOBB KGK and Chair of the TOBB Antalya KGK, featured TOBB KGK Executive Board Members Mülkiye Alagöz and Elif Ülger Yalçın, along with Ahsen Toktay, Chair of the TOBB Karaman KGK, as speakers. During the panel, insights and experiences regarding women’s entrepreneurship, leadership, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem were shared with the participants.

The second part of the panel program featured the success stories of inspiring female entrepreneurs from Karaman. The program concluded with the presentation of plaques.
