Representatives from the business community, the technology ecosystem, and the public sector will gather at the TOBB Business World Artificial Intelligence Summit, to be held in Ankara on July 29, 2026. The summit will examine the transformation brought about by artificial intelligence in the industrial, manufacturing, trade, finance, and service sectors, focusing on the concrete needs of the business community.

The summit, to be attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, will bring together public institutions, chambers of commerce and industry, SMEs, industrialists, software and IT companies, technology manufacturers, and sector representatives on a single platform.

The program will include presentations on AI applications in the public sector, data security, cybersecurity, public-private sector collaboration, and efforts to develop Türkiye’s AI ecosystem.

- Artificial intelligence in industry will be discussed in terms of business outcomes

The summit’s keynote speeches will focus on the transformation of industry through artificial intelligence. How artificial intelligence can be used in areas such as production lines, quality control, maintenance processes, the supply chain, energy consumption, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, customer experience, and operational efficiency will be evaluated using concrete application examples.

Other key topics on the agenda will include which processes SMEs and industrial companies should start with when adopting AI, how to prepare the data infrastructure, how to determine priority use cases, and how to measure the return on investment for AI initiatives.

As part of the program, domestic technology companies will also showcase the AI products and solutions they have developed to the business community.

- AI will be addressed in two separate panels

The summit program will feature two separate panels evaluating AI from the perspectives of technology producers and businesses that use technology. The technology-focused panel will address the new business models, product development opportunities, and export potential created by artificial intelligence in software, information technology, telecommunications, financial technologies, e-commerce, creative industries, and other technology-intensive sectors.

In the SME and industry-focused panel, the impacts of artificial intelligence on production, productivity, financing, customer management, human resources, and competitiveness will be discussed.

- SMEs and industrialists will meet with domestic technology providers

As part of the program, SMEs and industrialists participating in the summit through chambers of commerce and stock exchanges will be brought together with domestic software and IT companies that develop artificial intelligence products and solutions.

During B2B meetings, industrialists and SMEs will have the opportunity to directly evaluate AI solutions addressing challenges in their businesses related to production, sales, finance, human resources, customer experience, data analytics, and operational efficiency. Local technology producers, in turn, will have the opportunity to showcase their products to decision-makers, reach new customers and business partners, and develop concrete commercial partnerships.

With over 1,000 participants and more than 500 decision-makers expected to attend the summit, the program will feature 30 speakers from the business world.

- Ertan Barut: “On July 29, we’re bringing AI to the field”

Ertan Barut, Chairman of the TOBB Türkiye Software Council, stated that the summit’s primary goal is to align artificial intelligence with the real needs of the business world.

Barut said, “On July 29, we’re bringing artificial intelligence into the field. It’s no longer enough to just talk about AI, observe it, or evaluate it through limited pilot programs. We need to translate this technology into production, sales, exports, customer management, and efficiency.”

Barut said that the summit would not be limited to Ankara alone, and that they plan to hold it in İstanbul, Kocaeli-Gebze, Bursa, İzmir, Kayseri, Konya, Antalya, Samsun, and Gaziantep as well.
