TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Tekirdağ Governor Mehmet Ceylan at his office. During the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that Tekirdağ is a fortunate province and that its future is brilliant.​

Governor Ceylan pointed out that TekirdaÄŸ is an industrial and agricultural city and underlined that they are in good relationship with both the chamber of commerce and the commodity exchange. Governor Ceylan stated that 5% of GNP is provided from the TekirdaÄŸ province, mentioning that there are 12 OIZs in the city.
