Kırklareli Commodity Exchange livestock sales facilities opened

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who participated in the opening ceremony of the Kırklareli Commodity Exchange Live Animals Sales Facilities, said that commodity exchanges in Turkey have become an example for the world.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu announced that they had come to Kırklareli for good works in his speech during the opening ceremony. The TOBB President, stating Kırklareli is the apple in the eye of Thrace, said, “Agriculture and livestock are very important in Kırklareli and Thrace. This region is an important center for agriculture and animal husbandry and related industries. So we need infrastructure investments to further develop agriculture and animal husbandry in the region. I congratulate the Kırklareli Commodity Exchange, which has been working hard to bring to fruition livestock commodity exchanges in Kırklareli to further develop the livestock industry. I congratulate the management, the council and all its employees, especially Chairman Turhan.”

- Animal buyers and sellers will no longer be victims

Thanks to the Livestock Exchange, buyers and sellers will meet at the commodity exchange, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “This way, our animal producers will no longer be the victims of the price between the buyer and the seller.” Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they would receive services in facilities with a modern infrastructure. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that commodity exchanges have become an example to the world, “We offer services to our members through 113 commodity exchange in our country with modern commodity market practices. We provide service with our electronic sales halls, our accredited laboratories, our licensed warehouses, our livestock markets. Here is an example of our commodity exchange in Kırklareli. It provides the producers in the region with the best service they need for their members.

We will make our country one of the top 10 economies of the world as we deserve, as long as we all work together.”
