TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, in a statement regarding the announcement made by the Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak about the New Economy Approach, “It is very important that we continue to produce, invest, hire and export as the business world. We are a robust, strong country.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said the following in his statement:
“With our goal of a stronger Turkey, we find it very positive that the new economic model announced by Treasury and Finance Minister Mr. Berat Albayrak focuses on sustainable growth, financial stability and structural transformation. We support it the business world.
The outline of the transformation in the medium and long term will reduce the uncertainties and risks on our economy. We expect a much clearer picture with the announcement of the Medium Term Program.
Located at the base of the model are more savings, more production and more exports aiming to solve many of the current structural problems. This is the time for more work for our country and our nation. As the business world, production, investment, employment and exports are of great importance.
We are a strong country with robust foundations. Together, our country will make great leaps and continue to move towards our goal of becoming one of the world's largest economies.”
