Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are grateful to Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and all his comrades for their fight for liberation at the expense of their lives and giving this day of pride to us. National sovereignty is an indispensable form of government for our country.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said the following in his message:

“With joy and enthusiasm, we are celebrating the 99^th anniversary of the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the adoption of national sovereignty.

We are proud of being the first and only country in the world to offer their children a holiday and share this holiday with the whole world.

Our children, growing with the values ​​of national sovereignty and democracy and equipped with knowledge, are our greatest guarantee for our future.

As the great Atatürk said, national sovereignty is the basis of freedom, equality and justice.

Immediately after our war for independence, the race for civilization, which will last until eternity, began and has been put forward as the greatest goal in front of future generations.

On this path, we will continue to grow employment and production power by working continuously as the business community.

It is with these feelings and thoughts that I celebrate our nation’s April 23^rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day once again.”
