Following the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu shared his thoughts on social media, stating, “We met with Queen Mathilde of Belgium and her high-level delegation in İstanbul. We conveyed our views on further developing commercial and economic cooperation between Türkiye and Belgium. We expressed our appreciation for Belgium’s support for Türkiye’s European Union accession process and the modernization of the Customs Union, and emphasized the importance of this support continuing in the coming period.”
