In a post on his social media account, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated, “I congratulate the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry on its 100^th anniversary. On this 100^th anniversary, we honored our member companies - which have been part of the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry for three generations - and our former presidents who served the organization. I wholeheartedly congratulate all our producers who work the land with great effort, invest in the future of agriculture, and enrich our lives with the products they produce. I congratulate Abdullah Özdemir, Chairman of the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors, who has served its members for 100 years and carried out exemplary work for the development of agriculture and livestock farming in Mersin; Münir Şen, Chairman of the Assembly; our Board of Directors; our Assembly members; and my fellow employees. Here’s to many more successful years. I fondly remember the founders of the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry—which has served its members for 100 years and added value to our city—and all those who contributed to its success.”
