Following the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated, “Access to financing is the most important issue on our business community’s agenda. Financing is the lifeblood of the real sector. After our meeting with the general managers of our public banks, we met with Fatih Karahan, Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. We exchanged views. We conveyed our concerns regarding access to financing, the effects of growth limits on commercial loans, the challenges facing the real sector, and our recommendations. As I always emphasize, our companies are Türkiye’s national wealth. We must protect our country’s capacity for production, investment, employment, and exports.”
