We strongly condemn Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s insolent remarks and threats directed at our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the Republic of Türkiye, and we categorically reject his baseless accusations.
Türkiye is a strong country that strives to ensure peace, stability, and the rule of international law, and resolutely defends human values and the rights of the oppressed.
The Netanyahu administration’s efforts to escalate tensions for domestic political gain and its increasingly threatening rhetoric have become the greatest obstacle to peace and stability in this region.
What our region needs is not new tensions, threats, and conflicts, but dialogue, cooperation, peace, and stability.
We call on the Netanyahu administration to refrain from rhetoric and actions that will further escalate tensions and to act in accordance with international law and the principles of responsible statehood.
Everyone must recognize that Netanyahu is the primary culprit behind the occupation and violence in Palestine.
The entire world must stand up against this oppression and this reckless disregard for the law and put a stop to it.”
