Hisarcıklıoğlu made the following remarks regarding the meeting: “We thank them for providing such a consultative environment. We support the program to combat inflation. However, we also need steps that will preserve our country’s capacity for production, investment, employment, and exports. The competitiveness of various sectors must not be compromised. In this context, we proposed facilitating access to financing, exempting SME loans from the growth cap, providing greater support to our exporters, and making a comprehensive Industrial Protection Strategy one of the main pillars of the MTP. Production capacity is a country’s most valuable asset. If the private sector is strong, Türkiye will be strong.”
