Results of innovation research shared with opinion leaders

Bringing the business community’s approach to innovation under the spotlight and conducted by General Electric (GE), the GE Global Innovation Barometer Survey results were shared with opinion leaders by TOBB and General Electric at the meeting held at the TOBB Social Facilities.​

Attending the launch were Undersecretary of Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology Veysel Yayan, Head of Presidential Economic Monitoring and Coordination Hakan Yurdakul, President of TÜBİTAK Prof.Dr. Hasan Mandal, TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, Chairman and General Manager of GE Turkey Canan M. Özsoy along with senior representatives of the government agencies and the private sector.


TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş said that isn’t TOBB and GE’s first business partnership, saying: “We’ve organized the Future of Automotive Day on 9 February 2017 and Digitization in Agriculture and Food Industry on 30 March 2017 at GE's GE Innovation Center in Turkey. There, we gathered the actors of the sectors on sectoral basis and discussed related topics. Today we are pleased to bring you back together on a more macro-level platform. The reports which closely concerns all sectors in Turkey, looks at developments in the world in the field of innovation in a comparative manner, providing an important guideline for the private sector to understand their R & D developments in regards to digitization and technology.”
