Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

In his opening speech, Faik Yavuz provided information about the structure and activities of TOBB. Yavuz explained that the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey is the business umbrella organization of Turkey, “We have 1.5 million local and foreign members. Our members include small, medium and large scale companies. We represent all sectors of the economy such as trade, industry, agriculture, logistics, contracting and tourism. We also have a very large network abroad. We are active in leadership of the business organizations of Europe, the Islamic region and the Asia-Pacific. We have an agency in Moscow. We are working together with the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry both at the bilateral level and as a part of the European Chambers of Commerce. At the same time, we are working with the Russian Industry and Entrepreneurs Association.”

In her speech, the Minister of Investments and Development of the Sverdlovsk Region, Viktoriya Kazakova pointed out that Sverdlovsk is one of the most important economic regions of Russia and gave a presentation on the region's organized industry.
