Turkish investor will produce plane and sell it to the world

Mr. Aydogan Koc was elected for the administrative board. In his remarks, he explained that he had education on aviation and space engineering in Germany and worked for a company which produces Airbus planes for 19 years. He added that he also established an engineering and consulting company 7 years ago in Munich and they also have operations as Koç Consulting at Bilkent Teknopark in Turkey for 5 years to develop cooperation between German and Turkish firms.
 

 

“It will fly with a speed of 300 kmh with 95 octane gas”
 
 
Koç gived some information about the plane; “The cell is very new, this technology was never used before in this class, even though it is very light and fast. It will fly with a speed of 300 km per hour and will spend 16 lt. car gas per hour at this speed.”
 
 

Koç said that in total, the market for such planes is around 450 planes per year and they wish to get 2-3% of the market. He continued “We are planning to found a company named Koç Euro Space Company, with an investment of 30 million € in Turkey – Ankara and İstanbul – and finishing the first plane in 10 months forthcoming. It will cost 120.000 €.”

 
 
Koç also stated that they have applied for patent for their discovery among Turkish authorities.
