Halim Mete - Vice President
Was born on 15.05.1948 in Iyidere, Rize.
Completed his primary education in Rize, secondary education in the Rize High School and Pendik High School, higher education in the Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics.
He has worked together with his father in maritime business during his high school years (1964).
In the following years, as a partner of firms, he has continued working generally in the international maritime transportation sector.
Halim Mete, who is Chairman of the Mete Brothers Group of Companies, has around 15 partnerships of companies both within and outside of this Group.
Outside of his business, he has took part in the management of many organisations and institutions, ranging from those relevant with his sector to various social subjects.

Married and the father of 3 children, with 4 grandchildren, Halim Mete is also known for his jokes, being a philantropist who knows how to laugh and to make others laugh.
