Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

He was born in 1952 in Haymana, Ankara.

After his military service, he started his professional life by automotive merchandising.

Since 1982, he has been engaged in grain merchandise and international transport.  Currently, he buys and sells flour and oil products.
He is married with two children.

His career in Polatlı Commodity Exchange started in 1982 as the Founder Member, and he took office as Member of the Assembly between 1984 and 1987; Deputy Chairman of the Assembly between 1987 and 1989; as Member of the Board between 1989 and 1991; and since 1991 he has been undertaking the position of President of the Polatlı Commodity Exchange.

He was the Member of the TOBB Council of Commodity Exchanges between 1992 and 2009; Deputy Chairman of the TOBB Council of Commodity Exchanges between 2009 and 2013; and Chairman of the TOBB Council of Commodity Exchanges between 2013 and 2015.

As of September 29, 2015, he was elected to the TOBB Board of Directors.

• Since 2007, he has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTB Warehousing Inc.
• Since 2010, he has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TMO-TOBB Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Co. and Inc.
