Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Board Presidents Consultation Meeting was held at TOBB Twin Towers hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu with the participation of Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the General Assembly of Customs and Tourism Enterprises Trade Inc (GTİ), which modernizes land border gates within the framework of the Build-Operate-Transfer model, in which TOBB and 137 Chambers and Commodity Exchanges are partners. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated March 8th, International Women's Day. Hisarcıklıoğlu, said , “If there is a woman, there is tomorrow. I congratulate the members of the Women Entrepreneurs Council, which creates awareness and adds strength to the power of women entrepreneurs. TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council will always support women entrepreneurs who pursue their dreams.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry, of which he is the President. At the meeting held online, the observer membership status of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry was upgraded to full membership. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his delegation in Ankara. During the meeting, a comprehensive assessment of the developments in the Jenin Industrial Zone was made. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, together with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut and the Ambassadors of 17 EU member states visited Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç in his office. ​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, together with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut and the Ambassadors of 17 EU member states visited Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek in his office. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu participated in the “International Trade, Connectivity and Interdependence” panel organized with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz within the scope of Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2024.​
