TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu addressed the students, stating that they come from a culture which supports entrepreneurship, said, “They say that nine tenths of livelihood comes from trade. This is for this world. If you become an entrepreneur and be an honest and trustworthy trader, you will stand with martyrs in the afterlife. If you are an entrepreneur you will be prosperous in both worlds.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Being an entrepreneur is in our DNA.”

Stating that it all begins with a dream, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The freest we will be in our lives is in our dreams. There can be no goals without dreams. As Confucius said, ‘If you wish to climb to the top of the tree, set your goal on the stars.’”

Emphasizing that hard work is crucial in addition to dreams and goals, the TOBB President said, “You must work tirelessly. You must not be afraid to fail.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that this is the age of inventions and that you are only as successful as the number of inventions you make.
