“The world of art has lost another loved individual”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he is greatly saddened by the passing of the artist, Ferdi Özbeğen, “The world of art has lost another loved individual.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message regarding the death of Ferdi Özbeğen, “We were greatly saddened by the death of Ferdi Özbeğen, one of the most loved persons of our art world, who stamped his name on a period, at the Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital where he was being treated.
Ferdi Özbeğen won the love of the Turkish people with his art and gentlemanliness. Meeting fame through the Golden Microphone competition in 1965, Özbeğen made 28 albums throughout his music career and topped it off with many awards.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, I pray for the grace of Allah on him and present my condolences to his family, loved ones and fans. May heaven be his abode.”
