Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, stated the following views in his message sent in relation to Nevruz Festival: “Celebrated by many communities with a great excitement throughout the history, Nevruz has very special meanings for all of us.  A festival that heralds the awakening of nature and spring, Nevruz, above all, freshens and strengthens the hopes inside us.

In fact, Nevruz is a day of good news and happiness.  We should embrace this nice tradition which has such a deep meaning, and enjoy it in brotherhood.   The people of this country are bound to each other with an unexplainable tie.   If anyone gets hurt at the farthest end of the country, we all weep and run to help.   This is what distinguishes our culture from others.  Nevruz festival is the expression of this reality.  It is the expression of love of life and waking up to the spring.

If we desire to be a leader in civilization, technology, human rights, rights and liberties, democracy and welfare with all our hearts, we can only achieve this through peace and ease.  If such an atmosphere has been established and there is toleration, then you need not worry.  The way is clear for this country, and its future is as bright as the sun.

On behalf of the Turkish business world, I wish a happy Nevruz Festival for everybody who feels its excitement at every corner of our country and our brother countries, and hope that the bridges of brotherhood and friendship bear love forever.
