TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Isparta Commodity Exchange. Praising the solidarity between the chamber and exchange, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that success is achieved through unity and solidarity.
In Isparta, Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the President of the Commerce and Industry Chamber Şükrü Başdeğirmen and the members of the Board of Directors. Also present during the meeting were Isparta Commodity Exchange President Ahmet Adar, Yalvaç Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Nuri Dirik and various council members as well as women and young entrepreneurs councils members.
Extending his well wishes for the elections to be beneficial for everyone, Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Başdeğirmen and Adar, “The most beneficent of men is he who is beneficent to others.” The TOBB President said that becoming a director of a chamber or exchange is a good opportunity to help and serve people. Stating that the chambers system is the most democratic system in Turkey, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Isparta becoming rich is Turkey becoming rich. The former president also provided valuable services. May Allah bless him for his service. The Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a 5 star chamber; able to provide service quality on part with any you would find in London or Paris.”
Underlining the necessity to wake up each morning, thinking of what one can do to further serve, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Competition is so fierce that the world has come right to our doorstep. Computers bring the whole world to your office. If you want success remember that there is grace and prosperity in unity; anguish in dissent. Birds of a feather stick together. The arguments of the election period are over. From now on, we must embrace each other. My request for you is that you stay in touch.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu urging women and young entrepreneurs to stay active, said, “The future is in the hands of women and the youth. To prosper we must increase our number of entrepreneurs. You must ensure that our women and young entrepreneurs are role models; their success stories must be retold everywhere.”
- School and economy campus
The Commerce and Industry Chamber President Şükrü Başdeğirmen requested a promise for a high school for Isparta and stated that their present buildings are no longer sufficient, requesting Hisarcıklıoğlu’s support for an economy campus. Hisarcıklıoğlu promised support for the school protocol and economy campus.
Visiting the Isparta Commodity Exchange afterwards, Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the President Ahmet Adar, Board of Directors and a group of council members. Adar stated the need for a laboratory in Yalvaç to which Hisarcıklıoğlu replied by reminding him of the significant incentives provided by KOSGEB and EU in this regard. Isparta Commodity Exchange President Adar stated that Hisarcıklıoğlu has embraced Anatolia from the day he took office.
