Number of Industrial Capacity Reports increased by 67.3% in April 2021 compared to April 2020

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey in April 2021 increased by 1,782 (67.3%) to 4,431 units compared to April 2020.​
Of the 4,431 capacity reports approved in April, 1324 were held in Istanbul, 296 in Ankara, 274 in Izmir, 270 in Bursa, 175 in Kocaeli, 170 in Konya, 148 in Gaziantep, 106 in TekirdaÄŸ, 105 in Denizli and 96 in Mersin.
The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 972 (1.2%) to 81,279 units from 80,307 in April 2020.
According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 77,872 (2.4%) from 3,301,908 in April 2020 to 3,379,780 in April 2021.
Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
