Housewares Council Meets

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Housewares Council, chaired by Council President Murat Kolbaşı and attended by TOBB Executive Board Vice Chairman Ali Kopuz, was held online on August 31, 2026.
Opening remarks were delivered by Murat Kolbaşı, Chairman of the TOBB Türkiye Housewares Council, and Ali Kopuz, Vice Chairman of the TOBB Board of Directors.
The first item on the agenda involved consultations regarding commercial activities between Türkiye and Egypt, with the participation of Aly Mohamed Basha, Commercial Consul at the Consulate General of Egypt in Istanbul. Later in the meeting, Ahmet Acar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the İSTOÇ Businessmen’s Social Assistance and Solidarity Association, provided information on shopping mall and tower sales at İSTOÇ, while Burak Önder, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Housewares Association, provided information on the ZÜCHEX Fair.
The meeting concluded after Council members shared their views and recommendations regarding the sector’s agenda.
