Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu used the following words in his message:

“May 19^th, 1919, marks a historic turning point—the first step in our nation’s struggle for independence and a symbol of hope and determination. The liberation struggle initiated by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk when he landed in Samsun was brought to victory through the spirit of unity and solidarity of our beloved nation, paving the way for the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye.”

This meaningful day, which Atatürk bestowed upon the youth, is not merely a holiday; it is also the strongest expression of our trust in our young people and our faith in the future. We wholeheartedly believe that our youth, who will shape the future of our country, will achieve significant successes in science, technology, manufacturing, sports, and entrepreneurship to build a stronger Türkiye.

As the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, we view supporting our youth’s education, employment, and participation in the entrepreneurial ecosystem as the most valuable investment in our country’s future. We will achieve our goal of a strong economy and a strong Türkiye through the energy and vision of our youth.

With these feelings and thoughts, I commemorate with gratitude, respect, and prayers all our heroes, foremost among them the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk; and I celebrate the May 19^th Atatürk Commemoration, Youth, and Sports Day of our beloved nation and our youth, who are the guarantee of our future.”
