Somali delegation visits TOBB

A delegation comprised of former Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and members of the Senate visited TOBB. During the visit hosted by Faik Yavuz, TOBB Board Treasurer, discussions on the development of cooperation and trade between the chambers of the two countries were discussed.
Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, said during the meeting, “Economy is the foundation of life. We want the inter-chamber relations to be strengthened and Turkish businessmen investing in Somalia.” During the meeting, it was emphasized that economic relations between the two countries could be improved by bringing together respective business delegations and preparing business plans to more productively contribute to development.
