Kyrgyz President Sadir Caparov received M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and his delegation.​

Kyrgyz President Sadir Caparov received M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and his delegation, who arrived in the capital Bishkek. In acceptance; Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador to Ankara Kubaniçbek Omuraliyev, TOBB Vice President and Istanbul Commodity Exchange President Ali Kopuz, TOBB Board Member and Adana Chamber of Industry President Zeki Kıvanç, Nevşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Arif Parmaksız, Elazığ Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Asilhan Arslan, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry Council President Adil S. Konukoğlu were also present.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his acceptance speech that industrial potential must be increased for the development of Kyrgyzstan. Underlining the need for reforms in the activity of the Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Industry, Hisarciklıoğlu stated that they are ready to share experience in improving the working mechanism with the business world.

Caparov said in his speech that they support Turkish investors’ initiatives and projects in Kyrgyzstan, adding that they attach great importance to improving the investment environment in the country. President Caparov pointed out that they are focused on mutually projects of interest for the development of industry, agriculture, light industry, hydro energy, tourism, mining and other sectors.

Caparov stated that Turkey is one of Kyrgyzstan’s important trade and economic partners despite the negative dynamics in bilateral trade volume due to the global pandemic, and said he believes that the parties will make all efforts to increase the trade volume between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey to $1 billion. Caparov urged the Turkish business world to actively participate in the Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum in July and to invest in different sectors of the country.
