Faik YAVUZ - Accountant Member


Born in 1953 in Ankara Şereflikoçhisar Büyük Damlacık village, Faik YAVUZ completed his primary school education in Büyük Damlacık village, secondary school in Şereflikoçhisar, high school education in Ankara Cumhuriyet High School and higher education in Gazi Education Faculty Mathematics Department. YAVUZ, who is married, started to trade live animals and meat, which is his father's profession during his higher education years, and still operates in this field.

 

 YAVUZ, who served as a member of the Ankara Commodity Exchange Assembly and Board of Directors between 1981 and 1985, was elected as a member of the Ankara Commodity Exchange Assembly in 1995 and as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in 1997. In 1999, Mr. YAVUZ started to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of TOBB in May 2000 and as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in May 2002, and he is still the Accountant Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ankara Commodity Exchange.

 

Faik YAVUZ's ongoing duties as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ankara Commodity Exchange and Accountant Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Credit Guarantee Fund, Vice President of the ICC, Member of the Board of Directors of TEPAV, and Member of the Board of Trustees of TOBB ETÜ are among the duties he continues to carry out.
