Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The 4-member delegation at the Presidential office of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan was informed by Ali Emre Yurdakul, Deputy Secretary General of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), about the organization of the chamber system, working procedures and services offered in Turkey.​

Chaired by Nurten Öztürk, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council President, TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council 22nd Meeting of Value-Adding Women Entrepreneurs was held with the participation of the Executive Committee Members and Provincial Council Members, was held with TOBB Çankırı and TOBB Osmaniye Women Entrepreneur Council.​

TOBB Real Sector R&D Application Department Head Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, SME Research and Consultancy Center Director Cahit Ceren and vocational education officer Nazlı Akgün visited the Ministry of National Education and held talks on vocational training and vocational training centers.​

ISO 10004:2018 Standard Training was given to 10 pilot Accredited Chambers/Exchanges selected within the scope of Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System efforts and customer satisfaction, monitoring and measurement guide was explained. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Chemical Industry Council met via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Timur Erk with the participation of Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, TOBB Vice President.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs World Women Entrepreneurship Day Consultation Meeting was held on the Island of Democracy and Freedoms.​

TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu attended the work meeting hosted by Austrian Ambassador Johannes Wimmer. Ambassador Wimmer was joined by Undersecretary of Commerce Christian Maier and Austrian companies with investments in Turkey, and exchanged views on economic relations between Turkey and Austria and business and investment. ​

Last month, the return load was loaded on the vehicle used to transport aluminum and silica items from the UAE to Turkey within the scope of the TIR Carnet, and the first transportation process was carried out within the scope of the TIR Carnet from Turkey to the UAE.​

During the first 10 months period of the year 2021 the number of newly established companies increased by 6.6% while the number cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 7,1% and 12,9%.​

The Association of Iberian Chambers of Commerce (AICO), of which TOBB is an Observer Member, Honorary Member, Strategic Partner and the only official representative in Turkey, held its 48th General Assembly Meeting online, hosted by Term President Seville Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Maritime affairs and Services.​
