Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During the first 11 months period of the year 2021 the number of newly established companies increased by 7.6% while the number cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 6,8% and 12,3%.​

In cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Board and Beko, the fourteenth roadshow covering face-to-face trainings in the designated provinces after online trainings in the Heroines of the Entrepreneurship Project, which was implemented with the support of Arçelik Retail Academy was held in İzmir Commodity Exchange Assembly Hall.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Education Council meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building, chaired by Council President Dr. Yusuf Ekinci, with the attendances of Ministry of National Education (MEB) Education and Training Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Cihad Demirli, Head of Education Policy Department of MEB General Directorate of Private Education Institutions Vedat Kusgözoglu and MEB Vocational and Technical Education General Directorate Workplace Based Vocational Education Department Head Süleyman Akgül, and senior representatives of private sector and non-governmental organizations,.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Packaging Council Meeting was held via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Mustafa Tacir.​

Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Vice President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the working dinner at the 5th Bosphorus Forum organized by the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Representative Office in Turkey.​

Chaired by Nurten Öztürk, Women Entrepreneurs Council President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council 25th Value-Adding Women Entrepreneurs Meeting was held with TOBB Diyarbakır and TOBB Nevşehir Women Entrepreneur Boards with the participation of the Executive Committee Members, Provincial Board Members, and the TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board.​

TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş attended the 12th Golden Pen 2019-2020 Economic Press Achievement Awards ceremony organized by the Association of Economic Correspondents (EMD).​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Council met at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Kutlu Karavelioğlu with the participation of Mehmet Büyüksimitci, TOBB Board Member.​

Within the scope of the My Sister Project Grant Program, which is carried out in partnership with TOBB, Habitat Association and Coca-Cola Turkey, with the Presidents and OPET officials of the pilot provinces of the “Our Clean Business Project,” developed with the support of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council, the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Lifelong Learning and OPET, grant winners and Habitat Association officials, came together online.​

The thirteenth roadshow covering face-to-face trainings in the designated provinces was held in Karabük University Conference Hall after online trainings in the Heroines of Entrepreneurship Project, implemented with the support of Arçelik Retail Academy in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Board and Beko.​
