The number of newly established companies, the number cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 31,5% 4,0% and 12,9% respectively according to the same month of the previous year.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) held a meeting with the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization under the chairmanship of Ali Kantur, chairman of the Turkish Waste and Recycling Industry Council.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (TOBB KGK), Transportation and Logistics Sector Meeting was held online with the participation of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the opening session of the 21st Public Administration Quality Symposium, held in cooperation with TOBB and the Ankara Branch of the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer) online on April 13-14-15 in order to improve the quality of management in the public administration sector.​

Within the scope of chamber/exchange accreditation system efforts, risk analysis and process management training for 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th Term Accredited Exchanges was carried out via video conference on the 8th and 9th of April, 2021. In the training, the requirements for risk assessments were matched with accreditation standard expectations and explained with examples. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Pharmaceutical Industry Council, chaired by TOBB Board Member Öztürk Oran, met via video conference to elect the Presidential Council and make an overall assessment of the sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Automotive Trade Council Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Council President Yüksel Mermer with the participation of TOBB Board Member in charge of the Council, Mahmut Özgener.​

Current developments in the distribution of domestic transporter licenses, problems of real and legal persons licensed to carry domestic goods and solutions were evaluated by Ministry Transport Regional Directorates and Ministry officials and Chambers authorized by TOBB as per the Protocol with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure regarding the distribution of domestic transporter licenses.​

PLH Logistics Services Inc. officials, authorized to facilitate transporters operating in the field of international goods transportation in attaining TIR Carnets, were trained in organizing the TIR System and TIR Carnets.​
