Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Waste and Recycling Industry Council was established as the 62nd Sector Council under the umbrella of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Sector Councils.​

Within the scope of TOBB Accreditation System efforts, “Approach and Method Proposals for Affecting Lobbying and Policies during the Pandemic Period” training was held on January 14th, 2021.​

The Tax Advisory Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) convened via video conference on January 12th, 2021, under the chairmanship of Council President Fatih Dural with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç. ​

The second Networking Workgroup Meeting was held under the chairmanship of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Vice President Melisa Tokgöz Mutlu.​

The third meeting of the European Union Green Deal Workgroup, established within the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), was moderated by Minister Advisor/Energy Efficiency and Environment Agency (EVÇED) President Dr. Oğuz Can with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Energy.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Vice President Günseli Özen chaired the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council 5th Regional Provincial Presidents Meeting was held with TOBB Şanlıurfa Women Entrepreneurs Board President and 5th District Southeast Anatolia Regional Representative Cevahir Asuman moderating.​

Chaired by TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Vice President Günseli Özen, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council 10th Regional Provincial Presidents meeting was held with TOBB Aydın Women Entrepreneurs Council President and 10th Regional Aegean Representative Esen Türker moderating.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Vice President Günseli Özen, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board 2nd Regional Eastern Mediterranean Provincial Presidents Meeting took place with TOBB Mersin Women Entrepreneurs Council President and 2nd Region Representative Ayla Harp.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) met via video conference under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay, Head of Sectors and Entrepreneurship Department A. Saygın Baban, to discuss the issues on the agenda of the sector with the participation of sector representatives and to elect the Presidential Council.​

In 2020, as a country, the pandemic was fought as it was all over the world, while many earthquakes, fires, floods, avalanches, etc. were fought along with human-caused disasters such as natural disasters and cyber-attacks.​
