Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Leather and Leather Products Industry Council convened under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç to elect its Council President. Economic measures against Covid-19 pandemic, association of these measures with the leather sector and the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the sector were also discussed. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President and Chairman of the Economic Development Foundation (İKV) Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, the Representative of Turkey for the EU Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, and Turkey NATO Representative Ambassador Basat Öztürk attended the “EU and NATO Post-Epidemic Foreign Policy” meeting. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Creative Industries Council convened under TOBB Board Member Ömer Zeydan, with the participation of Council President Ali Ata Kavame via video conference to address the problems of the sector. At the meeting, sectoral assessments were made regarding the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak on creative industries sector and the normalization process after the Covid-19 outbreak. ​

The Mediation Council Meeting was chaired by Hakan Öztatar, Director General of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Justice. At the council meeting attended by Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, Head of Real Sector R&D and Application Department representing TOBB, the activities of the past term, the situation of mediation centers in the coming period and the opportunities to maintain the mediation establishment online were discussed. ​

A meeting to evaluate the work carried out within the scope of the Vocational Education Cooperation Protocol was held with the participation of representatives of the Protocol Executive Committees of Adıyaman, Çankırı, Eskişehir, Malatya and Niğde provinces. ​

Turkish-Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum Turkish Side Co-Chair Aydın Mistaçoğlu and Kyrgyz Side Co-Chair Azygaliev Nurlanbek Asanbekovich met via video conference.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) convened via video conference to elect the Turkey Travel Agencies and Guides Presidential Council and make the overall assessment of the sector, chaired by TOBB Board Member Davut Çetin.​

The meeting of the Medical Council was held via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Mete Özgürbüz with the participation of TOBB Board Member Öztürk Oran. Sectoral assessments were made regarding the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the medical sector and the normalization process following the Covid-19 outbreak. ​

Turkey Air Conditioning Council was chaired by Council President Zeki Poyraz with the participation of TOBB Vice Chairman Selçuk Öztürk. Council Members, evaluating the Covid-19 process, planned the normalization process. Council Members, discussing how the sector should draw direction with the sectors it is related to, the topics to be considered and the support it needs in the process, stressed that there is incorrect and unrealistic information pollution related to domestic air quality. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Health Services Council convened under the chairmanship of Seyit Karaca with the participation of TOBB Board Member Öztürk Oran and Council Member Private Health Service Organizations. At the meeting, sectoral assessments were made in regards to Covid-19 outbreak’s effects on the health services sector and the post-Covid-19 outbreak normalization process. ​
