TOBB delegation visited Turkish Ambassador to Bogota Sun

The TOBB delegation, which is in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, for the World Federation of Chambers Americas Regional Summit, met with Beste Pehlivan Sun, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Bogota.​

New curriculum discussed at the TOBB Education Council with participation of Minister Tekin

Current issues in the education sector were discussed at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Education Council meeting with the participation of Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin. TOBB Board Member Selçuk Öztürk said that they believe that the new skills-based curriculum will be an important means of change for the country, while Minister Tekin gave information about how and on what grounds they based the new model.​

Number of Domestic Goods Certificates approved in the first 4 months decreased by 14.2% compared to the same period last year

854 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in April 2024 within the framework of the provisions of the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology pursuant to Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118. In April 2024, there was a decrease of 21.6% (235 units) compared to April of the previous year.​

European Parliament S&D Group delegation at TOBB

Inma Rodríguez-Piñero, Coordinator for International Trade and Clara Aguilera, Coordinator for Agriculture of the Socialists and Social Democrats (S&D) Group of the European Parliament, met with Çağrı Gürgür, Chief Advisor to the Presidency, at TOBB Twin Towers. During the meeting, they exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation in trade and agriculture. ​

Number of Industrial Capacity Reports approved in the first 4 months decrease by 2.6% compared to the same period last year

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in April 2024 decreased by 9.1% (365 units) compared to April 2023 and became 3,629.​

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Foundry Industry Council meeting was held with the participation of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu and under the chairmanship of Uğur Kocaoğlu, Chairman of the Council, with the participation of senior representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations via video conference method.​

Consultation meeting on the Draft Regulation on Industrial Emissions Management was held at TOBB in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.​
