Speaking at the Communication Points Training Program, TOBB Board Member Şaban Aziz Karamehmetoğlu underlined that they it is necessary to garner more knowledge and convert knowledge into competitive action in order to exist in the global arena. “We want Turkish companies to be more active in international trade and express themselves. This is the only way. Our exporter needs to be properly informed and encouraged. This must become our greatest task. We must be competing at the point of presenting the information to members.​

TOBB Board Vice Chairman Selçuk Öztürk attended the closing ceremony of 31st Ahi Week Celebrations in Kırşehir Cacabey Square. At the ceremony, Öztürk adorned Vice President Fuat Oktay with an Akhi master’s sash. ​

Apprenticeship Training Coaches for SMEs Project Information Meeting was held on September 19th, 2018, at TOBB with the participation of Chambers.​

The number of newly established companies and sole proprietorships decreased by 19,92% , 16,41% while the number of cooperatives increased by 25,68% according to the previous month. The number of closed companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 5,04% , 16,19% and 3,55% respectively according to the previous month. ​

Speaking at the opening of the 61st TOBB Turkey Technology Encounters organized by e-Commerce Center for Continuing Education (e-ticaretSEM) and e-Commerce Center Inc. with the support of TOBB and Ministry of Commerce at the TOBB Twin Towers Hall Meeting, TOBB Board Vice President Selçuk Özturk stated that an electronic commerce revolution is under way throughout the world.​

The Accreditation Board, which is responsible for the execution of the Chamber / Commodity Exchange Accreditation System, convened under TOBB Accreditation Board Chairman and TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz. ​

Mardin Province / District Chambers / Exchanges (Kızıltepe Commodity Exchange, Kızıltepe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nusaybin Commodity Exchange, Nusaybin Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Mardin Artuklu University (MAU) carried out a field study in cooperation in regards to the agriculture and animal husbandry structure in Mardin.​
