Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Vocational Education Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) convened at the TOBB Twin Towers.​

A delegation led by Hidenori Mugino, President of the Toyama Prefecture Corporate Managers Association of Japan, visited TOBB and met with TOBB Deputy Secretary General Mustafa Bayburtlu and TOBB Chief Advisor Hüseyin Çağrı Gürgür. The delegation was given a presentation on TOBB activities and the Turkish economy. ​

Organized under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Local Products and Geographical Indications Türkiye Research Network (YÜCİTA), and hosted by the Antalya Commodity Exchange, the “Workshop on the Sustainability of Geographical Indications in Türkiye” was held on October 22–23, 2025, at the Antalya Chamber of Commerce Meeting Hall.​

European Union (EU) regulations on sustainable cosmetics and Hygiene products were discussed at the “Sustainable Innovation and Green Legislation Conference.”​

The TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK) Western Mediterranean Regional Meeting and the TOBB Antalya KGK Provincial Council Meeting were held with the participation of Yusuf Hacısüleyman, Chairman of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors, and hosted by Serap Kocaoğlu, Chairwoman of TOBB Antalya KGK and Vice Chairwoman of TOBB KGK.​

The first meeting of the “Free Allocation and Benchmark Values Determination Workgroup,” established to determine benchmark values and allocation rates for Emission Trading System sectors in preparation for decisions to be taken at the Carbon Market Advisory Board meeting established by the Climate Law No. 7552 and chaired by TOBB, was held.​

Murat Ertekin, Public Relations Manager of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA), visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and met with TOBB Deputy Secretary General Mustafa Bayburtlu. ​

Ali Kopuz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the closing session of the 5th Türkiye-Africa Business and Economic Forum held in İstanbul with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, and Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa Paul Mashatile.​

During the first nine months of the year 2025 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives decreased by 1,1% and 31,4% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 14,5% according to the same period of the year 2024.​

A delegation from the Pakistan National Management College (NMC), led by Sijal Tauseef Khan and consisting of senior public administrators, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) on October 16, 2025.​
