Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Free Zones Council meeting was held online under the chairmanship of Council President Edvar Mum, with the participation of Zeki Kıvanç, the TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council, and public representatives from the Ministry of Trade’s General Directorate of Free Zones.​​

Turkish-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Joint Economic Commission (JEC), a training program titled “The Operation of Commodity and Trade Exchanges” was organized for staff of the Kyrgyzstan Financial Audit Agency at the TOBB Twin Towers. The program was conducted under the responsibility of the Ministry of Trade and coordinated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​​

The Turkish Venture Capital Council Meeting was held online with the participation of TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci, Council Chair Altan Küçükçınar, and council members.​​

The TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK) Eastern Anatolia Regional Meeting was hosted by the Tatvan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​​​

The International Services Trade Incentives Presentation Meeting was held in Istanbul with the participation of Tarık Sönmez, Director General of International Services Trade, and Duygu Çeçen Yaygır, Head of the Creative Industries Department, and was moderated by Ata Kavame, Chairman of the TOBB Türkiye Creative Industries Council.​​

The training program titled “Empowering Communities Through Microfinance,” organized by the Islamic Chamber Training Academy (ICTA), was held on June 29–30, 2026, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). ​​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Transportation and Logistics Council convened with the participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, TOBB Director General of Sectors and Entrepreneurship A. Saygın Baban, General Director of Transportation Services Regulation Çağlar Tabak, Deputy General Directors Giray Yüksel and Kerim Cicioğlu, Hasan Boz, and Department Heads Sinan Oğuz, Buğrahan Açıkgöz, Zafer Kögmen, Cengiz Çakmak, and Ali Rıza Çelik, and was chaired by Council President Şerafettin Aras at the TOBB Twin Towers. ​​

The 72nd Financial Committee Meeting of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, the Roundtable on Sustainable Agriculture, a presentation by Jani Ibrahim, President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), and the panels on “Innovation & Entrepreneurship: the “Young and Women Entrepreneurs” panel, and the “Strengthening Chambers’ Capacity for Sustainable Economic Development” panel were held at the TOBB Twin Towers. ​

Ali Kopuz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), received a delegation led by Mergen Gurdov, President of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building.​​

Ozan Acar, Chairman of the TOBB E-Commerce Sector Council, attended the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo, held in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, from June 22 to 26, 2026.​
