Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

“Türkiye-Iran Cooperation Meeting in the Field of Agriculture” was held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

The first meeting of the year of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Paper and Paper Products Industry Council was held in a hybrid manner at TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Erdal Sükan with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and Engin Yeşil.​

As a result of the consultations between İŞKUR and TOBB, the Qualified Labor Force Training Cooperation Protocol (NİYEP) for the organization of vocational trainings to combine theoretical and practical trainings in public-private sector cooperation in order to train the qualified labor force demanded by the labor market was signed by the Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan and the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu on 23 September 2024 and entered into force.​

Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors of TOBB, participated in the visit organized to Bangladesh under the chairmanship of Trade Minister Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat.​

TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Central Anatolia Regional Meeting was held online chaired by TOBB Nevşehir Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK) President and Regional Representative Gülper Gündüz Yassı.​

The TIR Committee of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) held its first meeting of 2025 under the chairmanship of Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB, with the participation of the members of the TIR Committee via video conference.​

Mustafa Saraçöz, Secretary General of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), held a meeting with Burkhardt Helleman, Secretary General of the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK) and Duygu Delikanlı Yelken, Deputy Secretary General. During the meeting, Türkiye-Germany relations and the activities of AHK were discussed. ​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in 2024 decreased by 7.3% (3,901 units) compared to last year and became 49,450 units.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Hardware Industry Council meeting was held at TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Çetin Tecdelioğlu and with the participation of TOBB Vice President Ender Yorgancılar, who is responsible for the Council.​

The first meeting of the year of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Packaging Council was held in Ankara with the participation of TOBB Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and Engin Yeşil, and under the chairmanship of Mustafa Tacir, Chairman of the Council.​
