Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During the first three months of the year 2025 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives decreased by 3,6% and 23,8% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 9,6% according to the same period of the year 2024.​

The Judiciary and Business Symposium was held at the Kocaeli Congress Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Defense Industry Council meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ahmet Akyol, President of the Sector Council, with the participation of TOBB Board Members Mehmet Büyüksimitci and Seyit Ardıç, TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, Bilal Topçu, Director General of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, Bülent Özcan, Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs, Erbülent Kurşun, Deputy Director General for Exports at the Ministry of Trade, and Belkıs Gürsel, Deputy Director General for Imports.​

Zeki Kıvanç and Mehmet Tuncay Yıldırım, members of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), participated in the visit of Trade Minister Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat to Damascus, the capital of Syria, on 16-17 April 2025.​

The second Value Creating Women Entrepreneurs Meeting of the TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council was held in the Southeastern Anatolia Region chaired by TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk.​

Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Mustafa Saraçöz, Secretary General of TOBB visited AFAD President Ali Hamza Pehlivan in his office. The delegation congratulated Pehlivan on his new assignment and made evaluations on our country’s disaster activities and possible collaborations. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Stationery Products Council came together in Ankara for the first time as the 68th Sector Council.​

Webinar on the Integration of Shuttle Vehicles into the National Vehicle Identification System (UTTS) was held in cooperation with TOBB and the General Directorate of Mint and Stamp Printing.​

United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Türkiye Deputy Country Representative Zeynep Başarankut Kan and UNFPA Türkiye Corporate Relations Manager Nazife Ece Karaduman visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and met with TOBB Deputy Secretary General Mustafa Bayburtlu. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Cosmetics and Cleaning Products Industry Council Meeting was held in İstanbul under the chairmanship of Ahmet Pura, Chairman of the Council, with the participation of Cengiz Günay, Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB.​
