Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) organized a training program for the delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic.​

The Hybrid Economy Meeting on the Law on the Obligation of Care in Federal German Supply Chains and Its Effects on Turkish-German Economic Relations was held with the participation of the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and company officials.​

The number of Domestic Goods Certificates approved in March 2023 increased by 16.9 percent compared to the previous month. According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,594 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in March 2023.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Paper and Paper Products Industry Council met with the participation of sector representatives under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Members Engin Yeşil, Zeki Kıvanç and Council President Erdal Sükan.​

The number of Industrial Capacity Reports approved in March 2023 increased by 27.6 percent compared to the previous month. The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in March 2023 increased by 27.6 percent (1,060 units) compared to February 2023 (3,838 units) and reached 4,898 units.​

D8 Secretary General Ambassador Isiaka Abdulkadir Imam and Trade Director Punjul Nugraha visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and met with TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz and TOBB Sectors and Entrepreneurship Department Head Ahmet Saygın Baban paid a congratulatory visit to Vocational Qualifications Authority President Cemal Cihan Coşkun and wished him success in his new position. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Foundry Industry Council meeting was held by video conference with the participation of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu and high-level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council President Uğur Kocaoğlu.​

The Board of Directors of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Center, which is chaired by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, met online.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Patent and Trademark Attorneys Council held its first meeting of the year via video conference. At the meeting, the effects of the work done by the assembly on public opinion, its contributions to the profession and the preparations for the sector report were discussed.​
