Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Selçuk Öztürk, a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Türkiye Century Education Model: Language, Thought, and Values Congress held at the TOBB Twin Towers.​

Ali Kantur, Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council, paid a visit to Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Burak Demiralp at his office.​

The 137th General Assembly Meeting of the European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), where M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), serves as Vice President, and the European Public Law Chambers (EPLC) meetings were held in Malta on June 4–5, 2026. Mustafa Bayburtlu, Deputy Secretary General of TOBB, attended the meetings on behalf of the organization.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) held the Türkiye Cement and Cement Products Council Executive Board Election and Council Meeting in Ankara, with the participation of industry representatives.​

The second meeting of the 2026 session of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Supreme Council was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Nurten Öztürk, President of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK), with the participation of TOBB Board Member Işınsu Kestelli and members of the Supreme Council.​

A cooperation protocol was signed between the Women Entrepreneurs Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and UN Women Türkiye.​

The Tax Advisory Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) convened with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and under the chairmanship of Board Chairman Fatih Dural. ​​

The Türkiye-Armenia Business Leaders Meeting was attended by Ayşe Uzer, Deputy Director General for the Caucasus at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Hayk Darbinyan, Advisor to the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs; Kadir Bozan, President of the Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KATSO) Kadir Bozan, Saim Özakalın, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), officials from the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Iğdır, Ardahan, and Erzurum, and businesspeople from both countries.​

During the first four months of the year 2026 the number of newly established Companies and the number of sole proprietorships increased by 10,1% and 5,9% while the number of cooperatives decreased by 23,1%.​

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) 2026 Interim Mission Delegation visited TOBB and held a meeting with TOBB Deputy Secretary General Sarp Kalkan and Senior Advisor to the President Çağrı Gürgür.​
