Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Automotive Industry Assembly convened under the chairmanship of Assembly President Cengiz Eroldu with the participation of TOBB Board Member İbrahim Burkay, who is responsible for the Assembly.​

The first meeting of the OIZ Commission, which was established within the Waste and Recycling Industry Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in order to discuss the issues of the sector in the Organized Industrial Zones, was held at the Ankara Union Center under the chairmanship of Ali Kantur, President of the Assembly, with the participation of Çeltik Mayor Ali Meşe and Eyüp Güder, Head of Site Selection and Legislation Department of the General Directorate of Industrial Zones of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.​

The introductory meeting of the Digital Life Made Easy Project, implemented in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Türk Telekom, Habitat Association and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), was held in İstanbul.​

Selcuk Öztürk, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended and delivered a speech at the Sustainable Tourism Forum organized by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) in cooperation with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) in Karachi.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Cosmetics and Sanitary Products Industry Assembly Meeting was held in İstanbul under the chairmanship of Assembly President Ahmet Pura with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) organized a training program for the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic on the structure and main activities of TOBB, as well as the Rules of Origin in force in Türkiye and the TOBB MEDOS software. The training program was held on 28-29 January 2025. ​

The Ankara meeting of the “Select USA Roadshow to Türkiye” was held at TOBB in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Undersecretariat of Commerce of the US Embassy in Ankara.​

Seyit Ardıç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Opening Ceremony of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat delivered opening speeches at the ceremony, which was also attended by TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz.​

“Basic Quality and Risk-Based Process Management” training was organized under the coordination of TOBB Training and Quality Directorate and in cooperation with Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) for the newly recruited personnel within the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). ​

The Joint Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Apparel and Ready-to-Wear Industry Council and Textile Industry Council was held in İstanbul with the participation of TOBB Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and İbrahim Burkay and under the chairmanship of Adil Konukoğlu, Chairman of the Textile Industry Council and Şeref Fayat, Chairman of the Apparel and Ready-to-Wear Industry Council.​
